Engineering

Belt pulley manufacture is focusing on the following design versions:

  • Belt pulleys with locking ring connection and T-floor design
  • Belt pulleys with locking ring connection and I-floor design
  • Belt pulleys with internal bearings

All belt pulleys are designed based on the actual loads to which they will be exposed. The design of belt pulleys for use in high-stress applications is verified by FEM calculation.
The 2-D and 3-D systems used for design and engineering include:

  • ACAD Mechanical 2010
  • INVENTOR 2010
  • Catia V5

Pulley bearings

  • Spherical roller bearings on adapter sleeve
  • Wide variety of casings with various sealing systems:
  • Pedestal bearings, unsplit and split
  • Slide or insert bearings
  • Flanged bearings
  • Cage bearings
  • Double lip seals, Labyrinth seals, Taconite seals

Pulley linings

  • Hot and cold vulcanized pulley linings
  • Rubber linings in various thicknesses and hardnesses
  • Various profiles including:
  • Diamond
  • Fish bone
  • Waffle
  • Smooth
  • Ceramic linings with rubber as substrate
  • Ceramics directly applied
  • ATEX versions possible

Particular attention is attached to the interfaces for monitoring and maintenance.

  • Speed transmitters
  • Connectors for temperature monitoring
  • Connectors for vibration monitoring
  • Connectors for lubrication
